README File - FrontPage 98 Server Extensions (Version 3.0)

Full documentation, including installation instructions, can be found in
/usr/local/frontpage/version3.0/serk. To start the installation process, run
fp_install.sh.

Notes
=====
1) fp_install.sh and change_server.sh do not work with CERN servers.  CERN
users must use fpsrvadm.exe directly.

2) If you do not use fp_install.sh to install the software, you must create a
symbolic link from /usr/local/frontpage/currentversion to the location in
which you installed the files.

3) FrontPage client users will only be able to create webs on server types:
"apache-fp" (FrontPage-patched Apache) and "netscape" (all Netscape
servers). For all other servers, subwebs must be created manually via the
fpsrvadm utility or the remote administration tools.
